Privacy policy

Calendar AI exists to schedule what you say, not to profile you. We collect what the product needs to work: your account, your calendar data, and the requests you speak to the assistant. We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and your voice is transcribed on your iPhone, not on our servers.

• Account details: your email address, name, and username, used to create and secure your account.
• Onboarding answers: the short setup questions you answer when you join (how you plan your week, what you want from the app), stored to personalize your experience.
• Calendar data: the events and categories you create, including titles, times, and optional locations. This is the product; it syncs so your calendar survives a lost phone.
• Scheduling requests: when you finish speaking, the transcribed text of your request (never the audio) is sent to our servers to be turned into proposed changes. Requests and their outcomes appear in your Activity screen.
• Device tokens: if you enable notifications, we store the token Apple issues so we can deliver them.
• Subscription status: processed by RevenueCat and Apple. We never see your card details.

The mic only records while you hold it: press to start, release to stop. Speech is transcribed on your device using Apple’s speech recognition. The audio itself never leaves your iPhone.

The resulting text is sent securely to our servers, where AI models run by our processing partners (currently Replicate and OpenAI) convert it into proposed calendar changes. To understand context like “move my dentist appointment”, the request is processed alongside your relevant events. The app asks for your explicit agreement to this before your first request. Proposals are shown to you in the app, and only the ones you accept are applied.

When you save an event, its title, place, and notes are also turned into an embedding (a numeric fingerprint) by our embedding provider, currently OpenAI, so a spoken phrase like “my dentist appointment” can find the right event later. This happens for every event you save, whether spoken, typed, or imported.

We use a small set of infrastructure providers, each bound by their own data-processing terms:

• Supabase: database and authentication (your account, events, categories, and activity history).
• Replicate: runs the AI model that interprets your scheduling requests.
• OpenAI: creates the text embeddings that match your words to your own events.
• Vercel: hosts our servers and this website.
• RevenueCat & Apple: subscription management and payment processing.

As the product evolves, the AI partners we use may change; this page always names the current ones. We do not sell personal data to anyone, and no third party may use your data for advertising.

Your calendar and activity data stay in your account for as long as the account exists. That’s what makes it a calendar. Scheduling requests are kept so your Activity ledger stays complete.

Delete your account (You → Delete account, inside the app) and your profile, events, categories, and voice history are permanently removed from our systems.

• Revoke microphone or speech access any time in iOS Settings. The calendar keeps working by touch.
• Decline any proposal the assistant makes; declined proposals change nothing.
• Delete individual events, or your whole account, directly in the app.
• Email us to request a copy of your data.
